Investigation into Caparo Wire factory blaze in Wrexham

Fire investigators are due to return to the scene of a blaze which damaged a Wrexham factory.

North Wales Fire Service said four crews tackled the incident at the Caparo Wire plant on Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The blaze, which broke out at around 2215 BST on Wednesday, took firefighters more than three hours to extinguish.

Police officers will join the investigation on Thursday morning.

A fire service spokesperson said an incident command unit was brought in from Rhyl, while three fire crews from Wrexham and one from Johnstown attended the fire.

An aerial ladder platform was also used.
