A "devastated" dog owner whose pet was stolen in a burglary is appealing for its safe return.

Mikey, a Jack Russell, was stolen during a raid at a house in Waunfawr, Gwynedd, on 23 June.

North Wales Police said the white and tan-coloured dog had been seen the following day in Lon Ogwen, Bangor, but there had been no further sightings since.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the burglary.

Det Con Gwyn Williams said: "The owner is devastated by what has happened and is appealing to anyone who may know where Mikey has gone to come forward."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Williams at Caernarfon CID on 101 (if in Wales); 0845 6071001 (Welsh line); 0845 6071002 (English line); or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
