Terror fund allegations dropped by police

No further action will be taken against four men arrested in mid and south Wales on allegations of being in possession of funds for terrorist purposes.

Raids took place in Pontardawe, Swansea and Powys involving officers from the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command between 2-3 February.

All four were taken to a central London police station.

On Monday, the force said no further action would be taken against them.

It added that they were released from police bail.

Two men aged 34 and 45 were arrested at the same commercial premises in Pontardawe in February.

A 38-year-old man was arrested at a house in Swansea. And 37-year-old man was arrested at a house in Powys.
