Man rescued after fall into Afon Glaslyn river, Snowdonia

A man has been rescued after falling into a river in Snowdonia.

Rescue teams were called to the Afon Glaslyn at the Aberglaslyn Pass, near Beddgelert, at about 19:00 BST on Wednesday.

Ten members of the Aberglaslyn mountain rescue team took 45 minutes to rescue the man who had minor injuries to his face, arm and leg after the fall.

He was stretchered to the riverbank before being taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
