NatWest to shut three branches and cut hours at 12 more
NatWest has announced it will close three bank branches in Wales with reduced opening hours across a further 12.
The closures are in Beaumaris, Abertillery, and Dinas Powys.
Recent figures show that five of the top 10 UK areas to lose the most banks are in Wales.
A spokesman for the RBS Group, which NatWest is part of, said branches, "remain an important part of the service we provide customers".
The closures will take place from 9 to 11 August.
Branches in Chepstow, Monmouth, Hay-on-Wye, Pencoed, Mumbles, Maesteg, Llandeilo, Holyhead, Conwy, Cardiff North, Builth Wells, and Aberdare will all be changing their opening hours from August.
Customers at all three of the closed banks will be able to use nearby post offices for some services.
The RBS group said reductions in numbers of transactions and an increase in online banking have led to the decision.
