Project starts to create one-way system in Welshpool

A major project to create a one-way traffic system around a new Tesco store in Powys has started.
Part of the new road will go through Welshpool's Church Street car park, and Powys council has warned of disruption.
It said the first phase of the one-way system project was expected to last for about 10 weeks.
The town's Tesco supermarket is being built on the site of a former livestock market, and 250 jobs are expected to be created.
Along with a supermarket, five shops and a petrol station are also earmarked for the site.
Meanwhile, the livestock market has been relocated about a mile away on the outskirts of town.
