A landmark Powys building that once housed global fashion brand Laura Ashley has been sold.

The factory, in Carno, has been bought by Fellmongers, a West Yorkshire-based leather and sheepskin company.

Opened in 1967, the property became the headquarters of Laura and Bernard Ashley's fashion empire but closed its doors in 2004.

Fellmongers declined to comment on its plans for the building.
