Motorcyclist, 54, killed in Connah's Quay collision

A 54-year-old man has died after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car in Flintshire.
John Hemmings, from Connah's Quay, Flintshire, and formerly of Flint, died on Mold Road, Connah's Quay, on Saturday morning.
North Wales Police said he was riding his new bike when the collision happened at 1100 BST.
His wife, Karen, said: "John will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends."
Mrs Hemmings said: "John was a big fan of Wrexham Football Club and England.
"His main interest was motorbike riding and he participated annually in the charity egg run event held in New Brighton. John and I travelled all over Europe visiting war memorial sites as this was one of his passions."
Mr Hemmings, who was a delivery driver for KMS Hardrange, of Bagillt, also leaves his mother Roberta, six brothers, and nieces and nephews.
The driver and front seat passenger of the car involved in the collision were taken to hospital with minor injuries. They were released after treatment.
A full investigation into the circumstances of the collision is under way, said police.
