Tributes to woman who died in Denbighshire road crash

Tributes have been paid to a 24-year-old Flintshire woman who died after her car was in collision with a bus.

Nikola Shelley Jones, from Mynydd Isa, died after the incident at 0740 GMT on 15 December at Pontfadog, Denbighshire.

Her father Andrew said she was a "happy full of life girl who loved parties and will be desperately missed.

"She leaves behind her loving family, mother Christine, father Andrew and brother Philip. She will also be missed by her many close friends and family."

Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the B4500 at Pontfadog, where Ms Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The single decker bus was not carrying passengers
