Men bailed after Ysbyty Glan Clwyd cash machine theft

Three men have been released on bail after the theft of a cash machine at a Denbighshire hospital.

The machine was taken from Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan, just after 0300 GMT on Wednesday.

Three men, from Merseyside, were arrested but have been released on bail pending further inquiries, said North Wales Police.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses who saw a dark-coloured Volvo V50 near the hospital on Wednesday.

They believe a silver-coloured BMW 3 series estate car, recovered on the Roe Parc estate in St Asaph during the early hours of Wednesday, was also connected with the offence.

People who saw this car or who have information about the theft of the cash machine are asked to contact North Wales Police on 0845 6071002.
