Man in hospital after house fire in Bryn Hafod, Wrexham

A man has been taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation following a house fire in Wrexham.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to a end terrace home in Bryn Hafod at 04:36 BST on Saturday.

Firefighters found a 45-year-old man unconscious in a back bedroom and he was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

The fire service launched a joint investigation with police into the cause of the blaze, which was contained on the ground floor.
