Overton road reopens after four hurt in Wrexham crash

A road has been reopened after four people were injured, two seriously, in a collision between two vehicles in Wrexham.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the A539 Wrexham Road, Overton, at 15:40 BST on Tuesday.

Firefighters cut two people free from the wreckage. All four were taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital by ambulance.

The road was closed for a time while emergency crews worked at the scene.
