Little Orme cliff fall man, 82, in helicopter rescue
An 82-year-old man was rescued by helicopter after falling down a cliffside on the Conwy coast.
The alarm was raised after the unnamed man, from Aintree, Liverpool, slipped and fell on grass at the Little Orme, Llandudno at 19:20 BST.
Holyhead coastguards called in an RNLI lifeboat, a coastguard rescue team and a Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley.
The helicopter airlifted the uninjured man to the top of the cliff where he was checked over by paramedics.
Emergency services said the man slipped down a slope on wet grass.
He was driven back to a local campsite by the coastguard rescue team.
