Six arrested over Jonathan Sillett death in Prestatyn
A further six people have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a 42-year-old man collapsed following an altercation.
Police said Jonathan Sillett died after an incident in Beach Road, Prestatyn, on Saturday evening. A post-mortem examination has been carried out.
A woman, 19, and five men, 20, two aged 21, 22 and 23, are being questioned.
Another man, 22, and a woman, 21, questioned on suspicion of murder have been bailed.
They are all from the area.
On Sunday, North Wales Police appealed for information after saying a man had died after collapsing following a row with the occupants of a vehicle.
Officers said an incident occurred in an area where the Prestatyn carnival and funfair had been held earlier in the day.
The force said a woman called officers at 21:48 BST on Saturday, reporting vehicles being "driven erratically" in Beach Road.
On Monday, police confirmed two arrests had been made and Mr Sillett's death was being treated as murder.
A major incident room has been set up and family liaison officers are assisting Mr Sillett's family.
Det Ch Insp, Graham Talbot, said: "Inquiries are continuing into this suspicious death and we are still very keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw the incident.
"It is being treated as a homicide and the local community can rest assured that we are making progress with the investigation but need their help and support in this matter.
"I am now appealing for information from anyone who may know something about the incident to make contact with us asap."
