The family of a woman and three children killed in a house fire describe her as "loving and caring" and the youngsters as "little stars".

Lee-Anna Shiers, 20, her 15-month-old son Charlie, nephew Bailey Allen, four, and two-year-old niece Skye died after the blaze in Prestatyn on Friday.

Bailey and Skye's father said their smiles "used to light up our day".

A woman, 42, has been released on bail and no further action will be taken against a man, 45, say police.

The investigation into the four deaths continues.

Ms Shiers perished in the blaze along with her niece and nephew, while her son died at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool surrounded by his family.

Liam Timbrell, 23, Ms Shiers' partner and Charlie's father, remains in hospital.

Their family said their lives had been overturned following the deaths, and they had been overwhelmed by support from the local community.

'Our world'

Steve Allen and his fiancee Jonty Lewis said the loss of Bailey and Skye, two of their four children, had devastated them.

"They were our world. Bailey with his cheeky smile and Skye was just beautiful," they said.

"They were the most amazing kids in the world.

"Their smiles used to light up our day. They were such little stars. They were always so happy, they were a joy and loved everything about life."

The family described Lee-Anna as a kind, loving and caring person.

"My sister doted on the children. She was a fantastic auntie and mother to Charlie and we know she would have done anything to save her little kiddlets as she called them," said Mr Allen.

The family statement added: "Charlie loved to take cherries and grapes. He was a cheeky little chappie, only tiny, but bubbly."
