Ex-scoutmaster Martyn Tucker admits 26 sex offences
A former scoutmaster has admitted 26 sex offences against boys during the 1960s and 1970s.
Martyn Tucker, 68, of Chester, admitted five counts of serious sexual assaults, 12 of indecent assault and nine charges of indecency with a child.
Some of the offences were committed in Flintshire as well as other places.
Tucker was granted bail at Mold Crown Court ahead of sentencing on Tuesday. He was told he faces a lengthy custodial sentence.
Prosecuting barrister John Philpotts said that one of the victims wanted to address the court at sentencing to present his own victim impact statement.
Tucker was ordered to register with the police as a sex offender.
The offences date from 1968 to 1978 when he worked as a scoutmaster and occurred in Flintshire, Cheshire and elsewhere.
