Laurence McWade from Abergele named as man hit by train in Colwyn Bay
The man who died after being hit by a train near Colwyn Bay nine days ago has been named as Laurence McWade.
The 40-year-old had suffered "substantial injuries" in the incident on 28 June, said the North Wales East and Central coroner John Gittins.
Opening the inquest at Ruthin, the coroner heard that Mr McWade had no fixed address, and was last known to stay at Lon Derw, Abergele.
The inquest was adjourned until December.
