A cycle network in Deeside will be improved after £1.3m has been secured to help regenerate the Flintshire community.

The work comes as part of plans to expand the area's enterprise zone and improve links with communities.

About £6m has been secured from the Welsh government's Vibrant and Viable Places fund over the last two years.

Some of the money will also be used on energy efficiency projects on council houses in the area.
