Trains resume service after person hit on Wrexham-Chester line

Trains between Wrexham and Chester have resumed service after a person was hit on the line.

Services running through Wrexham General and Chester were cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes early on Monday.

Replacement bus services were brought in to transport passengers.

Disruption was initially expected to last through rush hour until at least 09:00 BST, Arriva Trains Wales had said.

There were no further details of the person's condition.
