Caernarfon man Ali Akbar Khan remanded on drugs charge
A man, arrested after a suspicious package was sent to MI6, has appeared before Caernarfon magistrates court accused of drugs charges.
"A significant quantity" of heroin is said to have been found at the home of Ali Akbar Khan, in Caernarfon, Gwynedd.
The house was being searched in connection to possible explosives offences, which are still being investigated.
He was remanded into custody accused of possession with intent to supply.
He and a second man have been bailed in connection to the original explosives investigation which was prompted by the discovery in Central London of two suspect packages.
It is understood one was addressed to the headquarters of the security service MI6.
