Two men who carried out an attempted robbery at a bookmakers are being hunted by North Wales Police.

They tried to kick down the office door of Corbetts Bookmakers in Towyn Road, Towyn, on the evening of Thursday, August 12, as staff were cashing up.

But they could not get in and left without taking anything.

One was wearing a camouflage jacket, Army-type boots and a "Scream" mask, and the other had a ski mask or hat. Police are looking for witnesses.

Police believe the raiders' faces could have been seen by people outside the premises just before they entered at 2108 BST.

Officers say a man walked past with two young girls shortly before, as did a teenage boy and a female.

Both men are described as over 6ft (1.83m).
