A mother and her nine-year-old son have been rescued as a sandbank was about to flood off Llandudno, Conwy.
The pair, from Herefordshire, were spotted by locals who made multiple 999 calls to Holyhead Coastguards.
A coastguard team and the RNLI Inshore lifeboat rescued them off West Shore, and neither needed medical attention.
Holyhead Coastguards, who have dealt with fatalities nearby, said the couple were oblivious to dangers posed by the strong tide and fast flooding water.
