Walkers find man's body on Cadair Idris, Snowdonia

Walkers have found the body of a man on a mountain in Snowdonia National Park.

North Wales Police said it appeared the man's body had been on Cadair Idris, Gwynedd, for some time.

Officers say they are in the process of tracing the man's relatives, adding that formal identification could take some time. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Volunteers from Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team recovered the man's body from near Llyn yr Gadair.
