Rhoscolyn, Anglesey: Rescuers save man and dog in gully

Coastguards have rescued a man and a dog who were stuck down a gully at the seaside village of Rhoscolyn on Anglesey.

A spokesperson for the coastguard said the wet conditions had made conditions very slippery in the area.

The 999 call was received by coastguards at 14:00 BST and crews from Holyhead and Rhoscolyn went to the scene.

The man was uninjured but the dog has been taken to the vet.
