Holyhead lifeboat helps kayaker with dislocated shoulder

A lifeboat has been called out to help a kayaker with a dislocated shoulder off Anglesey.

The rescue was co-ordinated by Holyhead coastguards which had a team on the shoreline ready to transfer the casualty from Holyhead lifeboat into a waiting ambulance.

The injured man was then taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital at Bangor.

The casualty was with a group of experienced kayakers when the incident happened in Parliament Cave, Holyhead.
