Man named after fall on Glyder Fach, Snowdonia

An inquest has opened on a 22-year-old man killed after falling about 300ft (90m) on a mountain in Snowdonia.

Guy Litchfield of Durweston, Dorset, fell from a gully on Glyder Fach while in misty conditions on Tuesday.

Coroner John Gittins adjourned the inquest in Wrexham on Thursday after he was told the provisional cause of death was due to a fall from height.

Mr Litchfield had been walking with a 23-year-old colleague, also from Dorset.
