Conwy Valley fire: Two women treated after Dolgarrog blaze

One woman has received hospital treatment and another was treated at the scene of an early morning house fire in the Conwy Valley, say North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

Two crews from Llanrwst and Conwy attended the blaze at Taylor Avenue, Dolgarrog, after the alarm was raised at 04:43 GMT on Sunday.

Teams used thermal imaging equipment to clear the house, after the fire broke out in a ground floor living room.

The cause is still under investigation.

The woman was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital at Bodelwyddan for further treatment.

Fire crews were finally stood down from the scene at 06.23 GMT.
