Llandudno search for missing woman in Great Orme area

Police say concerns are mounting for a woman reported missing in a north Wales resort.

Anne-Marie Sarjantson, 29, is thought to have been in the Great Orme area of Llandudno on Saturday.

It is understood that the alarm was raised at about 19:00 BST, leading to a land and sea search involving the RNLI, coastguard, RAF Valley Search and Rescue, and North Wales Police.

The search for her resumed on Sunday.

She was last seen at her home in the town at 07:30 BST on Saturday.

Holyhead coastguard confirmed that they were asked to assist in the operation on Saturday evening, and the RNLI inshore lifeboat at Llandudno was also launched.

The missing woman is described as 5ft 6in (1.67m) tall, with straight blonde shoulder-length hair, tied in a ponytail. She is wearing a long beige cardigan, light t-shirt, black leggings and flip flops.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Ms Sarjantson in the Llandudno area to contact them on the non-emergency 101 number.
