An Anglesey pub landlord died from a severe blunt force head injury, an inquest hearing was told.

A man has been charged with the murder of David Jones, 46, whose body was discovered at The Blossoms public house in Holyhead in December.

Peter Garrod, 24, from Treaddur Bay is expected to be asked to enter a plea at a crown court hearing in February after being remanded in custody in December.

The inquest hearing at Llangefni was opened and adjourned on Wednesday.
