Potty fines issued to Colwyn Bay parents by bogus official
A bogus enforcement officer has been fining parents £75 a time when their children use their own potties to go to the toilet in public, Conwy council said.
It has received reports about the fake official in Colwyn Bay.
A spokeswoman said the council employed Kingdom enforcement officers, but they had not issued fixed penalties for such matters.
She said: "If you are approached, please do not hand over any money."
The council urged people to ask to see an official identification card before paying up or to call the council.
