Police close Cardiff street after assault

A Cardiff street is due to reopen soon after being partially closed following an assault.

South Wales Police were called to Mill Lane after a 20-year-old man was found unconscious, with head injuries, at 0450 GMT.

He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Three men were arrested nearby and are helping police with their inquiries. The scene was closed for examination.
