Fatal Llangeinor crash: Man quizzed after car hits lamppost

A 40-year-old man has been questioned by South Wales Police after a road crash in which another man died.

Police say a silver Renault Clio left the carriageway of the A4064 in Llangeinor, Bridgend county, and hit a lamppost at about 11:55 BST on Monday.

A family liaison officer is supporting the family of the 41-year-old man who died at the scene.

The man taken into custody was also in the car. Officers are appealing for witnesses.

They believe the car had travelled from the Blaengarw area.
