The Second Severn Crossing has reopened eastbound following a multi-vehicle crash that closed all three lanes.

Emergency services went to the scene of a collision between five cars and two lorries at 11:20 BST on Wednesday.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said seven "walking wounded" were helped from vehicles and four were taken to hospital for check-ups.

The road was initially closed and traffic was redirected on to the original Severn Bridge.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent three crews, and Avon sent others.
