Homes evacuted after flat blaze in Adamsdown, Cardiff

Homes were evacuated after a blaze in a Cardiff block of flats.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to Moira Terrace, Adamsdown, at about 01:00 BST on Thursday after a fire on the ground floor of an unoccupied three-storey block.

Occupants of neighbouring flats were evacuated while firefighters used thermal imaging cameras and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.

Residents were later allowed to return and there were no reported injuries.
