Cyclist hurt in 4x4 'hit-and-run' in Powys

A 4x4 car failed to stop after colliding with a cyclist on the A40 in Powys, Gwent Police has said.

The crash happened between the Llanwenarth Arms and Glangrwyney, near Abergavenny, at 17:10 BST on 21 April.

The beige Land Rover Discovery hit the rider while overtaking her. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Abergavenny's Nevill Hall Hospital.

Gwent Police appealed for witnesses to call 101.
