Woman hurt in window smash attack in Llancarfan

A woman needed hospital treatment for a head injury after a large stone was thrown through a window at a house in the Vale of Glamorgan.

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at Middlehill, Llancarfan, on 24 April at 21:20 BST.

The stone was thrown through a living room window as the occupants were entertaining guests, hurting the woman.

She was treated at Cardiff's University Hospital of Wales.

Insp Clive Bevan said: "The house is located on the road between the B4265 and Five Mile Lane and we are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen any vehicles heading back towards Five Mile Lane."
