Cannabis plants valued at £150k seized in Merthyr Tydfil

Cannabis plants with a potential street value of £150,000 have been seized in Merthyr Tydfil.

South Wales Police said a stop check where someone was acting suspiciously led to the discovery of two factories, with 881 plants seized.

A man has been arrested and charged with producing cannabis.

Two warrants were executed in other locations acting on information from the community and the Crimestoppers charity.

Cocaine, six plants and a bag of cannabis leaf were seized and three people were arrested for possession with intent to supply.
