A man from Cardiff is to stand trial over the death of a woman and her unborn daughter in a crash on the M4.

Rebecca Evans, 27, who was eight months pregnant, died in the three-car pile up near Port Talbot in November 2016.

Craig Scott, 51, admitted causing death by careless driving at Swansea Crown Court.

But he pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and will stand trial in June next year.

Ms Evans was travelling with her husband and her two-year-old son along the westbound carriageway between junctions 38 and 39 when the crash happened.

Her son was seriously hurt and was treated in hospital.
