Missing Margam woman's body found in water in Devon

Police say a body pulled from water near Bideford in Devon is that of a missing south Wales woman.

Beryl Williams, 65, from Margam, was last seen in the early evening of 9 October when she left her house saying she was going for a walk.

South Wales Police had appealed for information because they were concerned for her welfare after she failed to return home.

Officers said her body was formally identified after Friday's discovery.

Her next of kin and the coroner's office have been informed.
