Swansea Bay beach body: Police appeal for information

Police are appealing for help to piece together the last known movements of a man whose body was found on the beach in Swansea Bay on Sunday morning.

Officers say the death of Lee Stephen Anderson, 26, is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post mortem examination.

South Wales Police want to hear from anyone who knows his whereabouts from 15:00 GMT on Saturday.

His body was discovered at around 08:30 GMT the following morning.

Police believe Mr Anderson was in the Oystermouth Road area just after midnight on Saturday night.

Acting Det Insp Ricky Price from Swansea Central CID said his death is not currently being treated as suspicious although it is being investigated on behalf of the Swansea and Gower coroner.
