Pedestrian hurt in road incident in St Helen's Road, Swansea

A pedestrian has been seriously hurt in a road incident with a car in Swansea early on Monday.

The man was injured on the B4290 St Helen's Road at the junction with Henrietta Street at around 03:40 BST.

South Wales Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident, which involved a white Skoda Octavia.

Police said anyone with information should contact the western roads policing office on 01792 456999.

The force wants to hear from anyone who saw the collision, the manner in which the car was being driven or unusual movements of any pedestrians in St Helen's Road.
