Man breaks ankle in cliff fall at Flimston Bay, Pembrokeshire


A man has been airlifted to hospital with a broken ankle after falling down a cliff in Pembrokeshire.

The alert was raised following the accident at Flimston Bay, near Castlemartin, at 12:15 BST on Sunday.

Crews from St Govan's and Tenby coastguard rescue teams were sent to the scene.

A rescue helicopter based at Chivenor, Devon, flew the injured man to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, according to Milford Haven Coastguard.

It is believed the man was part of a group when he was injured.
