More than 200 tractors were driven through Carmarthenshire in memory of a farmer.

Father-of-two Jonathan Evans, 43, died on his Kidwelly farm in July and his friends and family organised the tribute.

The tractors were driven from Muddlescwm Farm, Kidwelly, to Ferryside rugby club on Sunday and an auction was held afterwards.

Mr Evans was a "gentle giant", friends said.

"I've known Jonathan for 20-odd years," said Neville Davies. "He was a great family man and he loved his rugby. It's tragic.

"The turnout has been tremendous."
