A former mayor of Narberth has admitted stealing £400 from the town's football club.

Colin David Williams, 73, ran a lottery-style promotion run on behalf of the club between 3 October, 2011 and 1 November, 2012.

His daughter, Wendy Williams, 50, denied an identical charge of theft and was found not guilty on the direction of the judge at Swansea Crown Court.

Williams, who has been mayor five times will be sentenced next month.
