The mother of an 18-year-old who died in a four-vehicle crash on Monday has paid tribute to her "amazing son".

Aaron Hunter, from Llanybydder, was killed in the crash near Peniel, Carmarthenshire, just after midnight.

His mother, Nicola Hunter, said: "He was a joy to us his family, and his friends of which he had many.

"We as a family need space and time to grieve for an amazing son, who joined us together as a family in the good times, the bad and the fun."

The other person who died has been named locally as Curt Evans.

Dyfed-Powys Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw cars travelling on the A485 between Peniel and Carmarthen, and the A40 between Abergwili and Pensarn, between about 00:10 and 00:16 BST on Monday, to come forward.
