A Pembrokeshire country park hosted the Welsh Dragonboat Championships on Sunday.

The Whitsun bank holiday event returned for its third year and saw 18 teams go head-to-head on the reservoir at Llys y Fran, near Clarbeston Road.

Each team had sixteen rowers as well as a ceremonial drummer at the helm.

The championships were organised by Narberth and Whitland Rotary Club and a large crowd gathered to cheer on the competitors.

The winning team was Narberth RFC.

Mary Adams from the rotary club said the event was now firmly established in the Pembrokeshire calendar.

"This is now one of Pembrokeshire's premier events and we are delighted with the success of the event raising more than £20,000 for charities," she said.
