Port Talbot murder probe: Arrest after man, 37, dies
A man has been arrested as part of a murder investigation into the death of a man in Port Talbot.
South Wales Police said the 37-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Dalton Road, Sandfields, in the early hours of Monday and later died.
The force said his death is being treated as "suspicious" with part of Dalton Road cordoned off while investigations continue.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
Det Supt Richard Jones, of the forces' major crime investigations team said: "The death is being treated as murder and a full investigation into what happened is underway.
"I would appeal to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the Dalton Road area between 1am and 2.30am on Monday morning to contact police."
South Wales Police said it had set up an incident room at Sandfields Police Station.
