Dhaka building collapse: Factories and buyers
The workers killed or injured when an eight-storey building collapsed in Bangladesh were making clothes for sale in Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Canada and the United States.
Above the bank and shops on the ground and first floors of Rana Plaza, in the suburbs of Dhaka, were five garment factories supplying well-known brands.
A number of the Western firms have acknowledged they had been supplied by the factories and some have offered compensation to the victims' families.
*Reports say New Wave Style supplied up to 27 companies from its Dhaka factories, but the full list is not available.
