Man extradited and charged with murder of Shay O'Byrne

A 29-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a father in Dublin three years ago.

The 29-year-old, who is from Crumlin, was extradited from Holland and charged at Tallaght Garda station on Monday night.

He is due before Dublin District Court on Tuesday morning.

Shay O'Byrne, 27, was shot dead in front of his partner and young son, at Tymon Park North in Tallaght in March 2009.

His partner, Sharon Rattigan, was shot in the leg during the attack.
