Body found in Arklow is confirmed as James Sheehan

Irish police have confirmed that the body found in the Avoca River in Arklow, County Wicklow, is that of James Sheehan.

Mr Sheehan, 18, went missing early on Sunday morning following a night out.

He was last seen on CCTV images crossing a road near the Bridgewater shopping centre on the north quay in Arklow.

His body was found near the south quay. A post mortem examination will be carried out.
